Mrs. Charlotte, a New York native and transplant to Tennessee, was a neighbor from the early days of our marriage. Anytime we had a gathering, she would bring this slaw, and I absolutely fell in love with it and her. She was always a cheerful soul who was so talented with food and quilting. She always had an encouraging word when someone was down and always gave her time selflessly when someone was in need. She is definitely deeply missed by our entire family! <\/span><\/p>\n
