I use a large fork. The mixture should not be too sticky,- but sticky enough to hold it all together. <\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n <\/span>Melt butter on a pan and form your\u00a0frikadeller\u00a0with a spoon. I like them the size of a small\u00a0egg,-\u00a0but if it is for a buffet, we usually make them smaller, snack size.\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n Fry the\u00a0frikadeller\u00a0in the pan. Medium heat, until they are golden on all sides \u2013 takes about 10-15\u00a0minutes\u00a0(5-7 minutes on each side) depending on size.\u00a0 Dip the spoon in the butter on the pan when you start a new frikadelle. I always cook them in unsalted water with the peel on \u2013 then I peel them when they are cooled off (or before if I am in a hurry) \u2013 slice them thinly and let them to soak.
