Caramel Corn Puffs

Ingredients

  • 8 oz. bag of puffed corn
  • 2 sticks of butter
  • 1/2 cup light corn syrup
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1 tsp. baking soda

Step by Step Instructions

Step 1

Spray a deep sided pan with cooking spray. Pour corn puffs into pan.

Step 2

Melt butter over medium-high heat, add corn syrup and brown sugar. Cook until it starts to bubble.

Step 3

Add baking soda and cook 10-15 seconds or until it froths up about 3 times in size. Pour over corn puffs.

Step 4

Bake at 250 degrees for 45 minutes, stirring every 10-15 minutes. 

Step 5

Place on paper, separate the corn puffs and cool.
