Chinese Pork Dumplings
This recipe is a home specialty that is a crowd pleaser. Simple to make and enjoyable to eat. The meat filling can be substitute for basically anything.

Chinese Pork Dumplings

Ingredients
- 1 lb. ground pork
- 3 strands spring onion
- 2 Tbsp. fresh ginger
- 5 large leaves of Napa cabbage
- 2 Tbsp. soy sauce
- 1 egg
- 1 cup water for sealing wontons
- Wonton wrappers
Step by Step Instructions
Step 1
Make the filling.
Place eggs and soy sauce in bowl and beat them thoroughly. Cut out stems each napa cabbage and dice remaining leaves to small pieces. Shred ginger with grater until it is a fine paste. Dice spring onion into small pieces.
Take egg mixture, ground pork, diced spring onion, ginger, napa cabbage and mix well into one bowl.
Step 2
Make the wontons.
Take one wonton wrapper and place a small amount of meat mixture in the center.
Wet half of the edge of the wonton wrapper with water and gently wrap to other side together.
When you are finished, place the wontons in freezer.
Step 3
Cook the wontons.
Boil a pot of water until steam is visible.
Remove frozen wontons and place into water for 8-10 minutes.
