Pecan Butter
I started making this because I am obsessed with pecans and I wanted to try pecan butter. I decided to make my own and haven’t stopped. It goes great on everything!

Alterations: play around with the salt and spices. I’ve added maple syrup, honey, vanilla, and more in different quantities to experiment.
Ingredients
- 1 lb raw pecans
- 1 Tbsp. sea salt
- 1 Tbsp. cinnamon
- 1 empty mason jar
Step by Step Instructions
Step 1
Preheat to 250 degrees.
Lightly toast pecans on nonstick pan. Toast both sides (about 10 min. per side). Stir occasionally.
Step 2
Put toasted pecans in blender then repeat Step 1 until all pecans are toasted and blended.
Step 3
Add seasoning to taste. I prefer 1 tablespoon of sea salt and 1 tablespoon of cinnamon.
Step 4
Blend until creamy. You will need to pause occasionally to mix and stir the pecans into the bottom as they typically stick to the sides. It should take 5-8 minutes of blending. You will know when it gets creamy.
Step 5
Empty contents into mason jar and refrigerate. Enjoy!
