Red Cabbage Lasagna

Ingredients
- 1/2 head red cabbage chopped
- 1 stick butter (cut into 1/8s) (double butter for turkey/chicken or other dry meats)
- 1/2 lb ground meat (greasy meat works best) prepped into meatballs (recommend 1 inch around)
- 1/4 cup BBQ sauce (tangy/smoky work best, but use what you have)
- 1 cup hamburger dill pickle slices
- 1 packet zesty herb seasoning
- 1 lb shredded cheese (recommend white/soft cheeses)
- Optional:
- 1 Tbsp. minced garlic
- 1/2 cup chopped onion
Step by Step Instructions
Step 1
In a baking pan (approximate size 5 in x 8 in):
Add chopped cabbage and optional garlic and onion.
Step 2
Place meatballs evenly in a grid pattern.
Step 3
Place pickles slices and butter slices evenly throughout.
Step 4
Sprinkle the entire packet of herb seasoning on top. Add salt, pepper to taste.
Step 5
Drizzle with a light layer of BBQ sauce and sprinkle with shredded cheese.
Step 6
Cover with foil. Bake 350 degrees for 30-45 mins (depending on your meatball size). Remove foil and broil 5 mins to brown cheese.
