Seal the Deal Flank Steak

Ingredients

  • 2 lbs.  flank steak
  • 3 Tbsp.  Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/3 cup soy sauce
  • 1/3 cup canola oil
  • 4 cloves garlic diced
  • ¼ tsp. ginger (powder or you can also use fresh)
  • Kosher salt

Step by Step Instructions

Step 1

Cut the meat in a criss-cross pattern on both sides (not too deep so you don’t cut through the meat). Place the meat in a gallon size zip lock baggie. 

Step 2

Mix all other ingredients together except for the Kosher salt. Mix well and pour over the meat in the bag.

Zip the bag up securely and roll the meat around so it gets coated well on both sides. Marinate the meat for 8 hours or overnight (yes you can freeze it).

Step 3

When ready to grill, pull the meat out of the bag and put on a jelly roll sheet.

Season the meat with Kosher salt and grill for 8 minutes each side (don’t peek).

Step 4

Put the marinade in a pan and bring to a soft boil on the stove. When done pour the marinade over the meat.

Note

You can also cook it under the broiler for the same amount of time!
