Strawberry Pretzel Dessert

A real hit at birthday parties and on dessert tables! Much like a strawberry cheesecake, but with the surprise of pretzels. Yummy!

Strawberry Pretzel Dessert

Ingredients

 

  • 2 1/2 cups of crushed pretzels
  • 1/2 cup sugar, divided
  • 2/3 cup butter, melted
  • 1 1/2 pkg. cream cheese (12 oz. total) softened
  • 2 Tbsp. milk
  • 1 cup thawed whipped topping
  • 32 oz. fresh strawberries, sliced
  • 2 13oz. containers of strawberry glaze

Step by Step Instructions

Step 1

Heat oven to 350 degrees.

Step 2

Mix crushed pretzels with melted butter and 1/4 cup of sugar.  Press into a 9×13 pan and bake for 10 minutes.  Cool completely.

Step 3

Mix cream cheese, 1/4 cup of sugar and milk until blended and smooth.  Stir in whipped topping.  Spread over cooled crust.  Refrigerate until ready to use.

Step 4

Clean and slice strawberries.  Mix sliced strawberries with both containers of strawberry glaze.  Spread over cream cheese layer.  Refrigerate until ready to serve.

Step 5

 Note: You need to make this the same day you will serve it.  The pretzels will soften if left overnight.
