Super Crunchy Cookies with Chocolate

Ingredients

 

  • 160g  white flour
  • 4 Tbsp. brown sugar
  •  7 Tbsp. expanded amaranth
  • 1 egg
  • 100g  butter
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  •  50g of dark chocolate cut into small pieces

Step by Step Instructions

Step 1

Mix everything except chocolate and knead for the dough to be uniform.

Add chocolate pieces and knead again.

Step 2

Form small “balls” (ping pong ball size) and place on a cookie sheet- use parchment paper for better bake.

Flatten the balls to the round shape and 0.5cm height, leaving a bit of space for each cookie.

Step 3

Bake in 220 C deg for 5 min and then lower temperature to 180 C deg and bake for another 10 minutes.
