 A throw back to the days when dessert was always served after a meal. Just as delicious as it is simple to make. My mom’s recipe passed down to me, then my kids, and now the grandkids!

Win’s Mystery Cobbler

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1 cup sifted flour
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 3/4 cup milk
  • 1 can (30oz) of sliced peaches or fresh fruit 

I double the flour, milk and baking powder because everyone loves the crust.

Step by Step Instructions

Step 1

Place butter in an 11 x 7 pan; melt in a 350-degree oven.

Step 2

Sift together dry ingredients. 
Add milk; mix thoroughly in a blender. 
Pour batter over butter; arrange fruit on top.

Step 3

Bake at 350 degrees for 40 minutes.
